He married Catherine Fallon on 29 April 1933, in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada. He immigrated to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1908 and lived in Southampton St Mary, Hampshire, England, United Kingdom in 1901 and Simcoe, Ontario, Canada in 1921. He registered for military service in 1916. In 1916, at the age of 19, his occupation is listed as labourer in Alvinston, Lambton, Ontario, Canada. He died on 13 July 1991, at the age of 93, and was buried in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Simcoe, Norfolk, Ontario, Canada.
