Family Search: When QMS Arthur McArthur Smith was born on 5 February 1880, in Galt, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, his father, Thomas Smith, was 38 and his mother, Mary Crooks Morton, was 37. He married Jennie Ethline Lopsley on 14 October 1903, in Wentworth, Ontario, Canada. They were the parents of at least 6 daughters. He lived in Hamilton, Hamilton-Wentworth, Ontario, Canada in 1931 and New Liskeard, Timiskaming, Ontario, Canada in 1937. He registered for military service in 1916. In 1931, at the age of 51, his occupation is listed as presser in Hamilton, Wentworth, Ontario, Canada. He died on 29 January 1945, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 64, and was buried in Bartonville Cemetery, Bartonville, Hamilton, Hamilton-Wentworth, Ontario, Canada.
