Family Search: LeRoy Summerfield was born on 29 August 1895, in Ontario, Canada as the son of Thomas Summerfield and Matilda Daugherty. He married Dora Pamela Pemberton in 1920, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 2 daughters. He immigrated to Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, United States in 1945 and lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1920 and Kingsville, Essex, Ontario, Canada in 1922. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1915, at the age of 20, his occupation is listed as moving picture operator. He died on 30 March 1965, at the age of 69, and was buried in Greenhill Cemetery, Kingsville, Essex, Ontario, Canada.
