He registered for military service in 1915. In 1915, at the age of 23, his occupation is listed as motor mechanic in London, Ontario, Canada. He died on 5 January 1962, in London, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 69, and was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London, Ontario, Canada.
