Family Search: When Benjamin White was born on 1 April 1884, in Treherbert, Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom, his father, Thomas Lewis White, was 33 and his mother, Dorothy Jenkins, was 30. He married Annie M. Turney in 1916, in Barnet, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom. They were the parents of at least 1 son. He lived in Ystrad, Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom in 1901. He died on 1 October 1956, at the age of 72.

Involved with collision between Royal Navy vessel and the transport taking Battalion across the Channel, September 1915.

Married Annie M. Turney in 1916. Registered at Barnet, Middlesex. They had a son, George, born first quarter of 1919. The family arrived in Canada aboard the SS Grampian in May 1919 and they lived at London, Ontario. Annie Tunney died of peritonitis in 1926.
