He registered for military service in 1918. In 1918, at the age of 29, his occupation is listed as farmer in Windsor, Sandwich, Essex, Ontario, Canada. He died on 11 August 1973, in Milton, Halton, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 83, and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown, Halton, Ontario, Canada.
