He immigrated to Canada in 1910 and lived in Elgin, Ontario, Canada in 1911 and Kitchener, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada in 1922. He registered for military service in 1914. In 1914, at the age of 38, his occupation is listed as cadet and physical education instructor in St. Thomas, Elgin, Ontario, Canada. He died on 6 June 1941, in Coldstream, Berwickshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, at the age of 64.

  1. I have recently acquired a WW1 CANADA officers cap from England
    Appears to have ” JC Beeson 18th Br C.E.F ” written on the liner
    I believe it belonged to this soldier and if so adds to the info on him
    Pictures available if requested
