Source: War Diary Entry for July 8, 1916 lists a J.C. Chisholm being taken on strength to the 18th Battalion incorrectly. It is, in fact J.M. Chisholm.
Family Search: When James McCraney Chisholm was born on 1 October 1892, in Ontario, Canada, his father, Frank Herbert Chisholm, was 29 and his mother, Lizzie Annette McCraney, was 26. He married Esther Anna Wallace Lawson on 25 July 1921, in Kingston, Frontenac, Ontario, Canada. He died on 14 July 1927, in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 34, and was buried in Oakville, Halton, Ontario, Canada.
