Family Search: When Colonel Alan Charles Prince was born on 22 August 1888, in Sandwich, Essex, Ontario, Canada, his father, Albert Knight Prince, was 24 and his mother, Mary Ann Dwyer, was 18. He married Florence Elizabeth Reaume on 12 January 1910, in Sandwich, Essex, Ontario, Canada. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters. He immigrated to Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, United States in 1945 and lived in Essex, Ontario, Canada in 1911 and East Windsor, Windsor, Essex, Ontario, Canada in 1931. He died on 9 July 1962, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, at the age of 73, and was buried in Saint John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Windsor, Essex, Ontario, Canada.

COMING TO 99th
Major Allan C. Prince Will Return From France for This Purpose

Windsor, Feb. 14.- Major Allan C. Prince, of the 18th Battalion in France, will return to take a major-ship in the 99th Battalion. Col. Welch, the commander, has been notified by militia headquarters that Major Prince’s transfer has been sanctioned.

Major Prince is a former officer of the 21st Regiment. He is a son-in-law of Dr. J.O. Reaume, former minister of public works and a grand-son of the late Col. Prince, famous Fenian Raid Veteran.
