Below are a series of photos I found online at New York Public Library Digital Collection. The caption refers to the unit as the 18th Br(Brigade) but according a post at C.E.F. Study Group this term was really only applicable to C.E.F. Army units serving in France and not to units stationed and training in Canada.
Therefore, are they images of the 18th Battalion taken in the London, Ontario area? We may never know.
Please comment if you have any clues or ideas.
Below are the photos and some comments.

Comments: Most decidedly winter. The reference to Springbank Park, possibly London, Ontario.
Possible Clues: 1.) Gate posts in background. 2.) Uniforms.

Possible Clues: 1.) Field kitchen equipment may be peculiar to Canadian Army at this time (1915). 2.) Uniforms.

Comments: Most decidedly not winter. Possibly late fall or early spring as the trees appear not to have leaves. Use of great coats indicates cold weather.
Possible Clues: 1.) Rifles. Detail hard to determine if Ross Rifle but from the shape of the stock would say is the Ross Rifle which was used by C.E.F. 1914 – 1916. 2.) Uniforms.
