Update on Blog February 2016

Just a brief update on the status of the blog:

1. To date 794 soldiers’ pages have been entered in the blog. A significant source of new soldiers has been two book mentioned previously in the blog – “Duty Nobly Done” and “Kiss the kids for dad. Don’t forget to write.”
2. There are currently a total of 209 soldiers who need to be researched and entered into the blog.
3. The total soldiers found is therefore making the total 1,003.
4. The electronic data is currently represented by:
   1. 1,168 folders.
   2. 7,263 files.
   3. 4.43 gigabytes of data.
5. I have had some great people contact me and offer resources towards the blog. I have to update and pursue completing that work in the next couple of months.
6. Will be attending 11th Windsor Military Studies Conference in Windsor, Ontario this weekend. Several of the seminars may pertain specifically to the 18th Battalion.
7. There is A LOT MORE WORK TO DO!
